Time to Tighten up the Belt

Last night was a very tiring night for us. We came home late for we attended a special occasion with some of our old friends. When we arrived at the house, we noticed that our laptop was open. It seems like someone used it and forgot to shut it down. When I look at the screen I saw some girl games that my cousin Tricia used to play.Hmmm..

Seems to be that she’s peaking with girl games way past her bed time, looks like we have to tell her mom about it. You see, Tricia was a consistent student a few years ago. She always have these high grades on her report card but when she was exposed to computer games where she indulge most of her time than studying, everything went on the wrong way. That’s why we talked to her and strictly told her that there will be no pc games in the house especially during bed time. Now, with the cute girl games I saw on the browser I think we will implement a more sticker rules to control here.

Aw! Same problem goes with my brother who is a very smart young guy! But we have to be a little strict over him because he's getting distracted in his studies due to too much time he spent in internet games.

Wasn't it much simpler before video games became so accessible to kids? Technology sometimes ends up complicating things instead of simplifying them as intended.
