Hire an Online Tutor

My cousin Louie called me again about his schooling problems. As previously said on my previous post he was really having a hard time on his math subject. Before it was fractioning issues and now its calculus problems! Urgh! I hate calculus also and I really don’t understand most of it. Unfortunate for him he has now choice but to look for Math homework help to somebody else except me! lol!

I’m not really an expert on Math but I can solve math problems that involve basic computing and formulas but in terms of calculus especially factoring polynomials that involves deeper math concerns that I cannot handle anymore. Lol! I ask Louie to get an expert help or better yet hire an online tutor like what TutorVista is offering.

Get Well Soon Bro

A few years ago most of my friends were involve in different kinds of vices and most of these vices didn’t do any good to them. Unfortunately, one of my friends failed to control his vice and got addicted to it to the point that he has to hurt himself because he was under the influence. Fortunately, his brother saw what he was about to do and was quick enough to stop the act. After that, his parents decided to secure addiction treatment thru drug rehabilitation programs. We called our contacts, friends and families to help us and we also tried browsing information on the web as well to look for the best drug rehab centers.

We took him to the center and I saw that he was so nervous at first because he doesn’t have any idea what will happened to him when he enters the center. I encourage him and gave him a piece of advised to help him reduce his nervous feeling and I promise him that I will visit him every week. Finally, he settled down and agreed to enter the center.

Oh well, I just hope everything will turn out fine and I hope by the end of the year he will get well.

A Real Estate Gift

It’s September meaning only a few months to go and it’s Christmas!

I am so excited this holiday season for I am planning to give my family a gift that they will never forget and what’s that gift I’m talking about? What else but the best gift ever – a new real state property! Yup! I’m thinking of purchasing a Dallas Real Estate that’s why I asked one of our family friends to help me look for that property and he took me to one of the agents of some available Dallas Homes for Sale.

The agent was nice enough to give me the brochures and give me the tripping I need to check on the Dallas Homes For Sale. I told the agent that I’m on a tight budget that’s why I was asking him if he can give me the best but affordable estate ever. :) I sure hope I could close a deal before the month of December so that everything will be settled before I present the gift to my family and son. :)

Have you heard about retargeting?

Well, I myself have really no idea about this kind of strategy at first. But based on my research it is a new remarketing strategy where your viewer or client will return back to your ad and thereby visiting your website or blog. It somehow works like this, If they saw your website they could either stay or redirect their browsing to popular websites like Yahoo and Google, so when this happens when you applied for the retargeting strategy your ad will be visible again when they browse those popular websites.

Company like Recrue Media is one of the retargeting company’s online that aid seller, website owners and suppliers on promoting their products and website. So, if you want to take advantage and try this great option for you to boost your sales or increase your traffic you can browse their site now and contact them.

Eat to Beat Headaches

The food you eat can affect your life in many ways.

Most of the time it alters your mood, help prevent diseases, heal your muscles, and makes you slimmer and more – as long as you choose the right bites.

With that, I’ll be listing during the week the foodies we eat or can eat to help beat an illness. First on the list is..

Tip# 1 – How to beat HEADACHES

Eat this:

PUMPKIN SEEDS

Roughly 50 percent of headache suffers magnesium-deficient. That’s why crunching 2 ounces of toasted pumpkin seeds can give you the daily magnesium you need. You can toss them on a salad or blend them into mole sauce. The nutrient (also in spinach and potatoes) relaxes blood vessels in the brain, preventing and alleviating headaches.

Drink this:

WATER

Yup! You read it right! Sipping H2O can help your head. In a study, people with migraines drank about 6 cups of water daily experienced significant declines in headache duration and intensity. Dehydration may trigger nerve dysfunction in the brain that leads to migraines.

I’ll give you more tips in the coming days so keep on checking or better yet follow my this blog! :)

Not An Easy Job

Being a nurse is not an easy job. It requires skills, determination and a lot of training to be successful in the field. My friend has been a nurse for almost 5 years now and since then she has been doing good and has been enjoying her chosen career ever since. I even ask her once if working in a hospital is a hazardous job, she said that it all depends on the person. She’s particularly speaking about hygiene. She said she always make sure that she has a fresh cleaned uniform everyday she goes to work and when she arrives at home she makes sure to take a shower and disposed her scrub clothing properly n the laundry room. As we all know, nursing scrubs can be very dirty because they could carry certain germs that can harm a person, that’s why it is just wise to disposed it properly.

Well, she actually has a point there. Cleanliness is equivalent to healthiness that’s why it is very important to be clean always.

Nails Can Detect Health Problems

When I was younger, I noticed that my mom seems to have a black stripe on her fingernails. I ask her what was it and she said she really doesn’t know. She already went to a manicurist for it to erase but still the black line didn’t vanish.

Years later, she was diagnosed with Lupus. I wasn’t sure if the black stripes on her nails have something to do with her illness so I’ve done some research to answer my question. Then I’ve discovered that it might be a warning sign already. Unfortunately, we found out late and the disease was already active.

Oh well, if only I was a doctor maybe I could have done something before the disease develops but I am not. So, to help you guys I will share you the research I’ve gathered.

Yellow Nail Syndrome

Yellow discoloration in your fingernails may result from a respiratory condition, such as chronic bronchitis, or from swelling of your hands (lymphedema). In yellow nail syndrome, nails thicken and new growth slows, resulting in discoloration. Nails affected with this condition may lack a cuticle and may detach from the nail bed in places.

Although this condition is often a sign of respiratory disease, it’s possible to have yellow nails and not have a respiratory condition. Yellow nails may also result from any condition that causes the growth of your nails to slow down.

Nail pitting

Small depressions in the nails are common in people with psoriasis — a skin condition that produces scaly patches. They may also result from nail injuries.

Pitting may cause your nails to crumble.

Pitting is also associated with conditions that can damage your nail’s cuticle, such as chronic dermatitis of your fingers or alopecia areata, an autoimmune disease that causes hair loss.

Nail clubbing

Clubbing occurs when the tips of your fingers enlarge and your nails curve around your fingertips. This condition results from low oxygen levels in your blood and could be a sign of lung disease. Clubbing is also associated with inflammatory bowel disease, cardiovascular disease and liver disease.

Spoon nails

Spoon nails (koilonychia) are soft nails that look scooped out. The depression usually is large enough to hold a drop of liquid. Spoon nails may be a sign of iron deficiency anemia.

Terry’s nails

With the condition known as Terry’s nails, your nails look opaque, but the tip has a dark band. Sometimes this can be attributed to aging. In other cases, it can be a sign of serious illness, such as:
• Congestive heart failure
• Diabetes
• Liver disease
• Malnutrition

Beau’s lines

Beau’s lines are indentations that run across your nails. They can appear when growth at the area under your cuticle is interrupted by injury or severe illness. Diseases or illnesses associated with Beau’s lines include:
• Uncontrolled diabetes
• Circulatory diseases, such as peripheral artery disease
• Illness associated with a high fever, caused by pneumonia, scarlet fever, mumps or measles
• Malnutrition

Nail separates from nail bed

With a condition known as onycholysis, your fingernails become loose and can separate from the nail bed. If your nails show signs of detaching, this may be associated with:
• Injury or infection
• Thyroid disease
• Drug reactions
• Reactions to nail hardeners or acrylic nails
• Psoriasis

So, if you noticed something different or anything similar to the above. Consult your doctor.

Vacation Time

Last week my family asked me if I could find a resort for us to have a vacation. Yup! A vacation! I was so excited because this is my first time to have a getaway with the whole family and it’s free of charge (thanks again to my SIL). So I asked them what kind of vacation they really want and what kind of ambiance or view they are looking for a resort. They just said, “Just give us the best!”

After hearing that, I immediately got my laptop and start browsing the web. Good thing, my friend Liza told me about http://avistaresort.com. The moment the browser tab opened, I was already mesmerized with their website. I started browsing the site and thought of browsing the resorts in Myrtle Beach. As some of you know, beaches there are for certified beach bums! Lol! So, I continue browsing and suddenly stumbled at Myrtle Beach Hotel, I was blown away by their unique rooms and accommodations. Their packages are to die for! That’s why I’m mailing all of this information to my SIL and hopefully she would file a reservation by next month! And hopefully she would pick the ocean view package that I highlighted! Lol! :)

Mailbox has been around for a very long period of time this where we receive or mail or any kind of billing statements. Mailbox helps us secure our mail if we are not around like those people working far from home. It also helps the postman not to look for anybody I the house just to give the mails to them. They simply have to drop the letter in the mailbox and they could already leave because of the job is done. But sometimes, mailboxes don’t usually last a long time because of the material structure. Maybe due to weather and even accidents can damage any mailboxes.

That’s why today great companies created modern mailboxes to meet the needs of the fast changing technology and lifestyle people have. So, why if you’re one of those thousands of people who are interested in buying mailboxes, choose the best to have a more durable and reliable mailbox. Stainless steel mailboxes are great in terms of dependability because stainless don’t last for a long time and don’t deteriorate over rusts. That’s why I’m getting my first ever blomus mailboxes next month because I really need to replace my old one. :)

Country Decorating

Decorating nowadays has become an art. It has been a way of the designer to express her thoughts and somehow linking her personality thru her designs. A homemaker like me, arranging and designing our house can really be tedious and time consuming when you’re not really prepared and especially if you lack the right materials and inspiration to do it. As for me, the living room is one the most difficult part of the house to decorate for there a lot to consider not only the furniture but also the lightings, the color of the wall and the kinds of curtains one should put.

Yup! For me, choosing the right curtain is the most hectic part for me, because I should match the blending of the walls and furniture with it. Good thing, my friend told me about the country curtains she saw online. I tried browsing the website and I saw not only curtains but also country quilts and very unique items for the fireplace, for the kitchen and even for the bathroom! Now, I’m actually preparing myself to purchase those country style accessories and I think I might match them with a country shower curtains as well. Good idea, right??
